What was the highlight of オーシャン ブルー ビーチ ホテル（Ocean Blue Beach Hotel）
Reduce the price or upgrade the facilities
Breakfast was good, especially traditional Burmese food.
Too expensive for the facilities provided by the hotel. Bathrooms are very dirty and not maintained properly. No Internet/WIFI in the room and it's available only at the lobby(the most inconvenient thing). No power from 6 am to 6 pm and NO air-con. No light in the day time and it's completely dark in the bath room. We booked ocean view room but it's too far away to see the ocean and we had to upgrade to bungalow by paying more. At the space between the ocean view room and the shore, hotel held a party for group of 400 people from a company till midnight and the music was too loud and rooms were not soundproof. Bungalows only have 24 hour power and air con. For Bungalows we have to pay 150 $ per day which is not worth at all. Bungalow bathroom doors are too heavy and too tight to close.

Great staff and proximity to beach!
The staff were always friendly and attentive - there was nothing they wouldn’t do or try to do when we weren’t able to communicate well due to language barrier (we didn’t speak Burmese and some staff didn’t speak much English) but despite this they always tried their hardest to meet our needs - cannot flaw the staff! the proximity to the beach was great to - less then a 2 minutes walk and we were far from the beach. About an hours walk to town from this location which is fine if you don’t mind walking but definitely go along the beach not the road - however plenty of motorbike taxis to get you what you need!
We booked a double bed and got two singles. It was a little difficult to communicate this to staff. There were periods when electricity was not available which made it a little difficult as you couldn’t see in the bathroom to apply makeup or shower. This was communicated on the web site but wasn’t pleasant when hot. We of course just went swimming! Unfortunately too there was construction at the venue which we weren’t aware of that made our wake up calls definite! Finally some of the food wasn’t great - nor the drinks! But other food items and drink items were outstanding! But if a mixed bag!

Need better hotel management
The staff are trying their best to follow our demand, the bungalow has 24 hour electricity and great sea view
The staff are not well trained, the property are dirty, the grass are not well maintained, some part are damaged, the food are standard, the room acoustic is not good enough so you can hear people shouting. At first we booked the deluxe room in first floor but they put us in second floor, because of the noise we decided to move to bungalow. The price for foreigner is almost 50% higher than normal rate.
